A House for the West Side

Downtown's been here since 1886. It was due a porch.

Jefferson House is a partnership between Peoria's own Banquet Hospitality Group and the people behind The Churchill in downtown Phoenix — built hand-in-hand with the City of Peoria as part of its investment in the historic Downtown core.

The bones tell the neighborhood's story: shipping containers nod to the 1895 railway that put Peoria on the map, and the black-steel canopy tips its hat to the ironworks that stood here before us. Under it all — three chef-run kitchens, six retail and eatery spots, one good bar, a live stage, a splash pad for the kids, and seats for three hundred of our closest friends. Heaters, fans and misters keep the courtyard good all year. This is desert living, after all.

When does Jefferson House open?

We're under construction now and targeting November 2026. Follow @jeffersonhouseaz for the latest.

What are the hours?

Once we're open: Monday–Thursday 10am–10pm, Friday 10am–1:30am, Saturday 9am–1:30am, Sunday 9am–10pm. Each kitchen and shop sets its own hours inside those.

Where is Jefferson House?

8310 W. Jefferson Street, at 83rd Avenue and Jefferson in Downtown Peoria's Arts District — just off Grand Avenue and the Loop 101.

Is Downtown Peoria the same as Old Town Peoria?

Yes — two names for the same historic district, platted in 1886. The City calls it Downtown Peoria, so that's what we call it. If you grew up calling it Old Town, you're in the right place.

What's inside?

Three chef-run kitchens at 640 SF each, six retail & eatery spots from 160–440 SF, one courtyard bar, a live music stage, a 16-foot splash pad, and a courtyard that seats 300+ under a covered black-steel canopy with heaters, fans and misters.

Is it family-friendly?

Very. The courtyard is open to all ages and the 16-foot splash pad was built for the kids. Some evening events may be 21+. More on bringing kids.

Good spot for a date?

Built for it. Something cold from the bar, something sweet from the shops, live music on the stage — and no reservation required. Park once, stay a while. The case for a date here.

Where do I park?

Public surface lots and on-street parking sit all around us throughout Downtown Peoria. Park once and walk the district.

Can I book an event before you open?

Yes — we're taking private event and live music inquiries for late 2026 and 2027 now. Tell us about your event, or see what we're doing with the stage.

How do I lease a space?

Three turnkey kitchen suites (640 SF) and six retail & eatery spots (160–440 SF) are leasing. Apply here or book an intro meeting with the team.
