A House for the West Side

Downtown's been here since 1886. It was due a porch.

Jefferson House is a partnership between the people behind The Churchill in downtown Phoenix and Peoria's own Banquet hospitality group — built hand-in-hand with the City of Peoria as part of its investment in the historic Downtown core.

The bones tell the neighborhood's story: shipping containers nod to the 1895 railway that put Peoria on the map, and the black-steel canopy tips its hat to the ironworks that stood here before us. Under it all — three chef-run kitchens, six retail and eatery spots, one good bar, a live stage, a splash pad for the kids, and seats for three hundred of our closest friends. Heaters, fans and misters keep the courtyard good all year. This is desert living, after all.
