From first dirt to a finished corner.

We've photographed this thing since the day the excavator showed up. Here's the order it happened in.

• July 2, 2026 The name goes up Signage installed on the branded containers. First time the corner reads "Jefferson House" to anyone driving past.
• June 10, 2026 Under the canopy at last With the steel overhead and the containers set, the courtyard finally reads as a room rather than a lot.
• June 8, 2026 Container shops stack into place The shipping containers that hold the retail and eatery spots are set. They're a nod to the 1895 railway that built this town.
• April 8, 2026 The black-steel canopy frame goes up The piece that makes the whole thing work in an Arizona summer — and a deliberate nod to the ironworks that stood here before.
• April 3, 2026 Block walls up, steel columns standing The kitchens and the bar start to have edges.
• March 16, 2026 Framing takes shape across the lot Enough structure that you could finally walk it and understand where things would go.
• March 12, 2026 Steel beams swing into place Crane day.
• March 12, 2026 Footings poured, first block walls climb The unglamorous part that everything else depends on.
• March 5, 2026 Signs up, fences out The corner of 83rd and Jefferson officially goes to work.
• December 11, 2025 Breaking ground The first dirt moves, following the September 2025 groundbreaking with Mayor Beck and the City of Peoria.
