Jefferson House opens November 2026.
After a year of dirt, steel and containers, we finally have a month to give you.
Jefferson House will open in November 2026 at 83rd Avenue and Jefferson Street, on the northwest corner, in Downtown Peoria's Arts District.
We've been careful about not naming a date until we could stand behind one. Construction has gone the way construction goes — the canopy steel went up in April, the container shops were set in June, and the signage went on the corner in July. We're close enough now to say it out loud.
What opens with us
Under one covered black-steel canopy, with heaters, fans and misters so it works in every month Arizona has:
- Three kitchens, 640 square feet each, run by chefs who own them
- Six retail and eatery spots, from 160 to 440 square feet
- One courtyard bar
- One live music stage, with the courtyard as the room
- A 16-foot splash pad, built for the kids
- Seating for 300+ in the open-air courtyard
No chains and no franchises. Every concept in the building is independent and locally owned, which was the point from the beginning.
Hours, once we're running
Monday through Thursday 10am to 10pm. Friday 10am to 1:30am. Saturday 9am to 1:30am. Sunday 9am to 10pm. Individual kitchens and shops will set their own hours inside those, so not everything will be open the moment the gates are.
What happens between now and then
Three things, and you can be part of any of them.
Tenants. Kitchen suites and retail spots are still leasing. If you've been thinking about it, now is the moment where you get a say in how your space gets built out — apply or book an intro meeting.
Hiring. We'll staff up ahead of opening — bar, floor, security and management. Positions are posted here as they open.
Events. We're taking private event and live music inquiries for late 2026 and 2027 now. Early dates get the most input on how the space gets set up. Tell us what you're planning.
Thank you, genuinely
This corner belongs to the City of Peoria, which owns the property and funded the construction, and to a downtown that has been rebuilding itself for years before we showed up. We're one stop on that block, not the whole story. We're glad to be on it.
